A.C. Hott is a certified Laboratory Microbiologist who has spent years studying microorganisms, pathogens, and the effect that they can have on the human body. He has spent years working for local hospitals, helping them identify pathogens and informing doctors of what antibiotics can be used to kill them. It has always been his passion to help people become more aware of these invisible killers and avoid ending up in the hospital in the first place.
When he first found out about Mr. Microbe, he immediately recognized the active ingredient, chlorine dioxide. Chlorine dioxide (or ClO 2 ) has been in use for decades in water treatment, so he knew that this chemical has been proven to be non-toxic. He even took it upon himself to test the ability of Mr. Microbe to kill pathogenic bacteria and he was astounded by the results.
